What is Digitisation and how long will it take?

Digitisation is the process of uploading your wardrobe to the Cloud. This involves

clicking photos of every individual item in your closet, cleaning it up, meta tagging and creating your digital wardrobe.

The amount of time taken depends on the size of the wardrobe. On an average, it takes 3 to 4 hrs with three people working - to remove everything out, click, fold / hang neatly and reorganise based on colour, occasion and frequency of use.

 

Can I digitise my own closet?

Yes. You can digitise your closet. Follow the simple steps below:

• Ensure that the room is well lit

• Using your phone’s rear camera, click photos of each item either flat laid or on a hanger

  • For flat lay, ensure that there is a contrast solid cloth on which you flat lay (Light background for dark colours and vice versa)

  • For clothes on a hanger, ensure that they’re hung against a contrast solid wall / door (Light background for dark colours and vice versa)

• After the photo of each item, click a photo of the tag for the item (if available)

• Upload all the photos to any cloud storage and share a link to the folder with us.

How does styling work?

During the onboarding process, our stylists will understand your lifestyle, style goals, preferences and reservations. Based on your unique taste and your digital wardrobe, a stylist curates a “look” complete with footwear and accessories; tailored to you and the specific occasion.

 

Can I pick my stylist or will it be auto-assigned?

WearWise is all about you and making you feel your best self, and that starts with how well a stylist understands and connects with you. You can choose your stylist or we will get one assigned to you.

Irrespective, if at any point in your journey, you feel like the stylist is not working for you, or you just want to experiment with a new one - we’re more than happy to accommodate that request as well.

 

What is a lookbook?

A lookbook (as a name suggests) is a collection of looks tailored to your aesthetic. A typical lookbook is created for each week based on your schedule. You can also request your stylist to create a monthly lookbook or a generic one if you’re unsure about your weekly schedule.

Lookbooks are available as a part of WearWise + and WearWise premium subscriptions, or can be availed as a one-time service.
